About Us
At superboxs8.com, we serve as the official Exclusive Distributor of premium SuperBox Android TV streaming receivers across the United States & Canada. As the authorized primary channel for the full hardware lineage—including the proven S6 series, the flagship S7 series (S7 Ultra, S7 Max, S7 Pro), the elite Supreme Edition, and the upcoming next-generation S8 series—we bridge the gap between state-of-the-art multimedia hardware and direct-to-consumer reliability.
Under our guiding ethos, “Exclusive Distributor SuperBox TV in US & CAD,” we recognize that customer satisfaction and brand credibility depend heavily on flawless supply chain execution. Delivering high-performance hardware requires robust inventory controls, cost-effective cross-border freight strategies, rapid warehouse dispatch, and total shipping transparency.
To support our rapid volume expansion across the United States & Canada, we are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and highly organized Logistics & Inventory Manager to lead our supply chain operations.
Working in close collaboration with Head of Operations (Kim Wexler) and Founder & CEO (Jesse Bruce), you will oversee multi-warehouse inventory distribution, manage cross-border customs compliance, optimize carrier freight costs, and ensure zero-stockout availability across our storefront catalog.
Role Summary
As the Logistics & Inventory Manager at superboxs8.com, you are the strategic architect of our supply chain and fulfillment infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end inventory flows—from primary factory procurement and container freight importing to stock allocations across our fulfillment hubs in California (City of Industry) and New Jersey (Howell), alongside our Canadian distribution channels.
This is not a passive stock-monitoring job. We are looking for an experienced supply chain strategist who excels at inventory turnover optimization, safety stock modeling, carrier contract negotiation, and cross-border customs management (Delivered Duty Paid – DDP model for Canada).
You will audit multi-carrier shipping costs (FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS), oversee reverse logistics/RMA inventory integration, and ensure our order processing cutoff times (2:00 PM Pacific Time) are consistently executed with maximum cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities & Core Functional Areas
Your daily operational duties are structured across six primary supply chain pillars:
1. Multi-Warehouse Inventory Management & Stock Allocation
- Oversee real-time inventory levels across primary fulfillment hubs in California (City of Industry) and New Jersey (Howell), alongside dedicated distribution nodes serving Canada.
- Implement dynamic stock allocation models to ensure balanced regional inventory placement, minimizing carrier zone distances and transit times to customers in the United States & Canada.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts with warehouse partners, conducting thorough root-cause investigations into stock variances, shrinkage, or damaged inventory.
- Maintain clean SKU taxonomy inside our Shopify WMS, ERP, and Inventory Planner tools, ensuring complete accuracy across hardware series (S6, S7 Ultra/Max/Pro, Supreme, and S8 pre-order allocations) and bundled accessories.
2. Supply Demand Forecasting & Reorder Point (ROP) Optimization
- Build advanced demand forecasting models based on historical sales trends, promotional calendars, seasonal spikes, performance marketing ad spend forecasts, and hardware launch schedules.
- Establish precise Reorder Points (ROP), Safety Stock thresholds, and Economic Order Quantities (EOQ) for all primary receivers and accessory lines to prevent costly stockouts or excess holding costs.
- Coordinate lead times with manufacturing partners and freight forwarders, maintaining strict production schedules for incoming bulk container shipments.
- Monitor sales velocity daily across direct-to-consumer channels, issuing automated restocking alerts to executive management prior to stock depletion.
3. Cross-Border Logistics, Customs Compliance & Canadian DDP Operations
- Manage international ocean/air freight shipments from manufacturing plants to US and Canadian port entry hubs, ensuring seamless freight forwarder coordination and container drayage.
- Oversee full compliance with United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) import requirements, including correct Harmonized System (HS) code classifications.
- Administer our Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) operational model for Canadian shipments, ensuring all tariffs, import taxes, customs brokerage fees, and VAT charges are prepaid accurately to prevent delivery delays or recipient surcharges.
- Prepare, audit, and archive import documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (BOL), and Customs Entry Summaries.
4. Carrier Relationship Management, Freight SLA & Rate Auditing
- Manage strategic relationships and contract negotiations with major courier networks, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, and regional delivery carriers.
- Continuously audit carrier invoices to verify billing accuracy against contracted discount rates, dimensional weight (DIM weight) calculations, residential surcharges, and fuel fees.
- Monitor carrier On-Time Delivery (OTD) rates and Service Level Agreement (SLA) benchmarks, establishing corrective action plans with logistics providers when transit performance dips.
- Coordinate daily 2:00 PM Pacific Time (PT) carrier pickup schedules across fulfillment centers to guarantee same-day dispatch commitments.
5. Reverse Logistics, RMA Inventory Intake & Loss Prevention
- Partner with Lead Technical Specialist (Nacho Varga) and our QC team to streamline the reverse logistics workflow for returned merchandise (RMA).
- Inspect and reconcile incoming RMA return shipments, logging serial numbers and updating inventory statuses (Restockable Factory Fresh vs. Defective/Quarantine Stock).
- Direct the formal claims process with freight carriers for lost in-transit packages, shipping damage claims, and “Delivered but Unreceived” package disputes within our 10-day reporting window.
- Implement robust physical security, tamper-evident tape enforcement, and warehouse shrinkage controls to maintain high inventory protection standards.
6. Supply Chain Cost Optimization & Executive Analytics
- Analyze total landed costs (TLC) per unit, evaluating ocean/air freight expenses, warehousing storage fees, pick-and-pack labor costs, and outbound postage rates.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities across packaging weight optimization, carrier zone skipping, bulk shipping rate tiers, and box size standardization.
- Prepare weekly logistics performance dashboards for Founder & CEO (Jesse Bruce) and Head of Operations (Kim Wexler), detailing metrics like Inventory Turnover Rate, Fulfillment Cost Per Order, Out-of-Stock Rates, and Average Order Lead Time.
